Leeds City Council The Virtual School Virtual Conference and Exhibition 2021

Event Dates and Prices

Friday 26th February 2021

Further to the success of their 2019 conference, where Louise Bomber provided schools with an introduction to key concepts and approaches for children who have experienced relational loss and trauma, Leeds City Council Virtual School are delighted to be hosting this follow up conference continuing the theme in the context of learning and education.

The conference is available to all designated teachers and support staff working with this group of children from schools and settings across the country.

Taking place in a virtual environment, delegates will benefit from a blend of live and pre-recorded workshops to support and grow their knowledge and practice.  All sessions will remain on the virtual platform for a period of time after the event allowing delegates to take full advantage of the skills and expertise on show.

We are delighted to be welcoming Lisa Cherry as main keynote and plenary speaker who, having spent thirty years of working in education and social care and a journey of personal recovery overcoming her own experiences of being in care, will share her academic research, professional experience and personal stories with delegates.

There will be a range of workshops also available at the Conference with topics to include aspirational target setting, emotion coaching and Touchbase Attachment Lead training.

The virtual platform provided by Mondale Events for this Conference will also include an exhibitors’ area where organisations are invited to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to promote their products and services to the target audience with advertisements, videos, interactive quizzes, prizes etc.  Organisations and companies wishing to participate should please contact us as soon as possible for further details.
