Meeting the needs of all through assessment and adaptive teaching

The 2024 Leeds Mathematics Conference will take place at Elland Road and be a day of professional learning which senior leaders, subject leaders, lead practitioners, teachers and governors are invited to attend.  The day will be full of innovative opportunities to build on the 2023 conference and develop delegates understanding of effective mathematics teaching and learning. Delegates will learn how to use assessment and adaptive teaching to meet the needs of all learners, and how to implement evidence-informed practices in their classrooms and schools.

Together with Leeds City Council’s School Improvement team, we are delighted to welcome the following keynote speakers:

  • Louise Pennington, Head of Professional Development at Oxford University Press
  • Richard Perring, Director of Primary Mathematics at White Rose Maths

There will be a comprehensive programme of workshops facilitated by local and regional school practitioners and independent organisations.

All of this will take place amongst the excellent facilities of Elland Road, Leeds and will be hosted by Leeds City Council’s School Improvement Team.

A full programme with workshop details may be found here and delegates are asked to pre-select their workshop choices when registering.

Alongside the conference there will be an exhibition of education suppliers and those companies wishing to exhibit at this popular event should kindly contact us as soon as possible as space is limited at the venue and stands can only be offered on a first come, first served basis.
