Strengthening mathematical thinking
The 2025 Leeds Mathematics Conference will be a day of professional learning which senior leaders, subject leaders, lead practitioners, teachers and governors are invited to attend. The day will develop delegates understanding of how to strengthen learners’ mathematical thinking.
Together with Leeds City Council School Improvement Team, we are delighted to welcome Gareth Metcalfe as the keynote speaker. Gareth is an engaging and inspiring independent trainer who will share his insights and expertise and will provide valuable perspectives on strengthening mathematical thinking in school.
There will be a comprehensive programme of workshops facilitated by local and regional school practitioners and independent organisations.
A full programme with workshop details may be found below and delegates are asked to pre-select their workshop choices when registering.
Alongside the Conference there will be an exhibition of education suppliers and those companies wishing to exhibit at this popular event should kindly contact us as soon as possible as space is limited at the venue and stands can only be offered on a first come, first served basis.
