We are delighted to now be hosting once again this one-day annual Conference at the London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel and to be welcoming back to this popular event both education suppliers and School Business Leaders and support staff from North East London and Essex.

A range of Keynote Speakers will be delivering an exciting and varied programme covering a range of topics of interest to the target audience. A full programme can be viewed and downloaded below.

The cost per delegate is £45.00 exc. VAT, including lunch and all refreshments throughout the day and any subsequent delegates from the same school will be eligible to a discounted place at a cost of £35.00 exc VAT per person. Delegates should register below and note that a discount of £10.00 exc VAT per person will apply to bookings received by 20th May 2024.

Helen Curry

Helen Curry

Helen runs a national schools’ sustainability and circular service called School Resources Exchange. Her background is in EdTech and educational publishing. She has over 20 years’ experience working with schools across areas including school improvement, intervention, assessment and classroom teaching and learning. She has also served as a MAT Trustee and primary school governor. School Resources Exchange provides a route for schools to share their surplus school supplies with other schools directly. By passing on items, schools can help resource/equip other schools while also reducing their waste footprint and financial spend on waste management services.
Laura Williams

Laura Williams

With over 15 years leadership experience in the education sector, Laura is a school leadership coach and trainer working with SBLs, Headteachers and CEOs. She also hosts the School Business Leadership podcast, runs the SBL Coaching Community and writes blogs whilst eating chocolate. A former COO, CFO and Business Manager with CIPD and specialist CIPFA qualifications, she is a school business leadership expert and champion of SBLs everywhere. In her spare time she enjoys watching questionable TV shows and making lists.
Samantha Garner

Samantha Garner

Mental Health and Inclusion Consultant, Founder Balanced People Ltd Sam is a renowned speaker, trainer and author specialising in Mental Health and Inclusion. She has worked in the education sector as a SENCo and the corporate sector in a variety or roles. She is a qualified Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, Counsellor and Master Mindset Coach. Sam has also founded a company, Balanced People Ltd, providing mental wellbeing and support to individuals and companies. She is in high demand to speak at conferences and events and provides in-house training for schools and companies, nationally and internationally. Lauded for her humour and ‘telling it like it is’ approach to mental health, Sam has had her book Mental Health in Education published by Routledge, and regularly writes for several publications with more books in the pipeline for publication.
