We are delighted to be once again organising this popular annual event in conjunction with the School Business Professionals of the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and Redbridge.

The day promises to provide delegates with an interesting and varied day focussing on subjects of particular interest to all those involved in school management.

Keynote speakers are:

Justin Smith – ‘Marketing your school’

Delegates are urged to register here to secure their places as soon as possible.

Education suppliers are invited to take a stand at the exhibition running alongside the Conference and should note that space is limited at this particular venue and can only be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Christine Bayliss

Christine runs her own company offering consultancy and support to academy trusts, schools and local authorities. Until 2015 she worked in the DfE heading up the South East, South London Regional Free Schools Implementation team, leading on Academy Funding Policy and advising Big Lottery on Change Management and Strategy. She has served as chair of governors of a primary school and is currently Vice Chair with responsibility for Standards on the Board of Trustees of Aurora Academy Trust based in Sussex.

Justin Smith - Owner, Chameleon Training and Consultancy.

Following a career spent in private sector business development and marketing, Justin moved into the education sector over 20 years ago and has worked as a senior leader in 3 large secondary schools in Suffolk and Norfolk. In 2017 Justin established his own business, Chameleon Training and Consultancy, designed to provide specialist marketing, income generation and bid writing services to the education sector. A vastly experienced bid writer, Justin has secured over £7 million in additional income for schools, from a variety of sources including conventional grants and trust funds, commercial sponsorship and donations. Chameleon Training and Consultancy has developed a suite of practical and innovative products, services and masterclasses to support school leaders nationally, from stand-alone primary schools to large multi-academy trusts. Justin was awarded the Guardian/ISBL Marketing Award in 2015, became an ISBL Fellow in 2017 and is a member of the Institute of Fundraising.
